Food Banks

You can refer yourself or someone else to the Food Bank for help by e-mailing projectsupport@sdcvs.org.uk or telephone 07458 305314 to request a food parcel. You should give the name, address and contact telephone number of the person needing a parcel and tell us how many people live with you/ them. This enables them to supply the right amount of food for the household. They will give you a time to collect the food parcel. This is so that they can keep you, other people, their staff and volunteers safe by observing the rules on social distancing.

The CVS building is closed and staff are working from home so food parcels cannot be collected food from the CVS. Food Parcels can be collected (by appointment only) from the front entrance of Hill Street Baptist church which will be open for collecting parcels on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9am –4pm. Please do not come to the church without e-mailing or speaking with them first as this will help them to keep the social distancing rules in place.
